Cell Phone Footage

Have cell phones totally changed the way the world watches sports. I watched a clip of the Dave Roberts ALCS steal from a guys cell phone and it was grainy and awful but it was an awesome clip. You could feel the fans reaction in a way that no broadcast could capture. Keep shooting those videos of the Patriots and I'll keep posting them.

Got this picture from a fan after Mason wins another. Not the best 'rushing the court' moment but it's not like we beat Duke in this one. Respect the size.

Cam Long

No, thats not a picture of Cam Long but they are both monsters. Cam has been playing lights out during the Patriots 7 game winning streak and if they are going to have sucess in the CAA tournament and in the NCAA tournament Cam is going to need to continue to play well.

Glory Days

We all remember this day. This is footage shot from a fan's cell phone when Mason shocked the world and beat UConn three years ago to make it into the Final Four.

MASON PATRIOTS

This blog will follow the Colonial Athletics Association's number 1 division 1 men's basketball team the Patriots of George Mason University. I am not working for Mason I am just a student that loves his team and wants to provide a forum for other fans to talk about the up and coming basketball program. Mason currently sits at the top of the CAA with a 10-1 record in conference play and an over all record of 15-7 as they are posed to make another appearance in the big dance in March. The team travels to Atlanta on February 3 to take on the Panthers of Georgia State. Go Patriots!
